안녕하세요 UW에서 한국인 국적자들이 받을 수 있는 장학금이 있어서 공유합니다. 장학금의 이름은 Statira Biggs Scholarship이며 한국,일본, 그리고 만주족(중국)만 지원이 가능합니다. 신청서는 슈미츠홀 105에서 픽업이 가능하며 제출은 2월 28일 까지입니다.
장학금 수여에 우선 순위는 17-18 장학금이 없는자 그리고 학점 3.5이상 인분들입니다. 한국국적자로 장학금을 받을 수 있는 기회가 많이 않은데, 이 Statira Biggs장학금에 대해서 많이 모르셔서 글 작성해봤습니다. 아래는 ISS에서 제공하는 정보입니다.

Applications for the Statira Biggs Scholarship are now available in Room 105, Schmitz Hall.
International students who are residents of Japan, Korea, or Manchuria are eligible to apply. The intent of the scholarship is to assist students whose admission and study at the University of Washington would tend to promote peace, understanding, and goodwill between the people of the student’s country and the people of the United States of America.

Recipients must attend full-time during the spring quarter (12 credits for undergraduates; 10 credits for graduate students). Preference will be given to students who have a cumulative 3.5 GPA or above and who are not recipients of a University of Washington scholarship or departmental funding during the current academic year.
